In a report by #Shared Hope Internationl:
Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking America's Prostituted Children 2009
'Only five residential facilities specific to this population exist across the country.'
"With few appropriate shelters available for victims of domestic minor sex trafficking,
victims are often arrested and placed in detention facilities for their protection — though
this is not done for domestic violence victims, rape victims, or other child sexual abuse victims. While this is sometimes viewed as the only option available to arresting officers, it is a
practice that pulls the victim deeper into the juvenile justice system, re-victimizes, and hinders
access to services. Furthermore, the arrest and detainment of the victim confirms the identity
that has been assigned to her by the pimp/trafficker and reinforces the belief that she is not
worthy of rescue or justice as a victim of a violent crime."(H)

Proverbs 24:11-12
Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what
they have done?
